How to use the product search
Vehicle search
- Select manufacturer.
- Choose model.
- Set type and year of manufacture.
- View results: part numbers, shop availability, EBA.
- Optionally enable filters to narrow the selection further.
Item search
- Enter part number.
- Check compatibility with your vehicle.
- Optionally compress the preview using filters.
- Open the shop link or installation guide directly.
Installation guides
- View all available EBAs — complete or specifically by part number.
- Check functions and installation scope in advance.
Compatibility notes in the results
Document icon: Opens the detail view with compatibility status, shop link, and installation guide.
Gray: No prediction possible
Light green: Vehicle-independent item
Dark green: Tested on the listed vehicle
Yellow: Tested on a platform-equivalent vehicle
Tips for selecting the correct product
- Verify base data: model variant, engine, equipment.
- Year of manufacture = production year; may differ from initial registration.
- Type numbers distinguish model series — two types can be built in the same year.
- Cross-check vehicle data with the ADAC catalog or similar.
- Verify the functional scope in the EBA.
- Electric/hybrid variants may affect functions (e.g., RunLock).
- Unless otherwise noted, items are tested on the standard variant.
- Unclear? Check the notes in the product popup or contact sales.
Shop search vs. product search
- Shop search: Ideal if the part number is known. Please check carefully that it’s the correct product — vehicle types are easily confused.
- Product search: Recommended for safely selecting the right item for each vehicle, including shop links (for freely sold items) and direct EBA.
- Dealer prices: Visible only in the shop after login — not in the product search.
